Gorgeous glowing rich red foxes adorn this large, high quality handmade cushion. Like all my designs, this pattern started life as a piece of millefiori clay.

The pattern is printed onto heavyweight linen-cotton blend fabric in the UK, and handsewn by Emma Pooles of Two Birds Good in Reigate, Surrey.

The price includes free UK delivery and the correct size feather pad.

  • Handmade for DoodlePippin in Reigate, Surrey.
  • Luxury Cotton-Linen Fabric 229gsm
  • 94% Cotton, 6% Linen
  • Hidden zip
  • 45x45cm quality feather pad included.
  • Machine washable - wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F.
  • Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat.
  • Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results.
  • Do not bleach. Do not wring.

The fabric is digitally printed and has a natural, slightly uneven texture which results in a characteristic variation in printing density. Small marks and blotches are not a fault but part of the charm and appeal of a handmade item.

Bumble Bee cushion on chair
Although most of my pieces are made in my Reigate studio, there are some items that I don't have the skills or equipment to make myself.
I am a hopeless seamstress, so I get either a local seamstress (Emma from TwoBirdsGood) or a partner company to make my cushions and pillows for me. For more info on the difference see 'Which Cushion'
Cushions and Pillows normally take 7-10 days from order to shipping.
Delivery is likely to take between 4 and 10 days.
Shipping rates also vary, depending on what you're ordering, and where it's being made.
If you go to checkout, you should be able to see how much shipping will cost.
Any questions about shipping or delivery, please contact me.

Aztec Orange Black Cushion
I put my designs on two different types of cushion.
The first are the relatively cheap and cheerful 'Hardwearing Polyester' version. These are printed and sewn for me by a company based in the USA with a print shop in Latvia.
They print exclusively onto a thick sturdy polyester which takes colours beautifully and sews exceptionally well. It's also very tough and washes without fuss or fading. And they offer both "cover only" and "pad included" options, as well as a range of sizes.
The second are the 'Luxury Cotton Linen Cushions'. I get the fabric (a lovely, slightly textured Cotton-Linen blend) digitally printed in the UK.  I then get my local seamstress friend Emma to hand sew them, including putting zips in etc.
The fabric is sturdy but, being a natural material, is likely to have small imperfections, lighter spots (particularly on darker or solid colour designs) and other 'flaws'. It also needs more care with washing, although it's still machine washable, and the design may fade gradually over repeated washing. It will get softer and more pliable with use, too.
The upshot is that, if you want a no-fuss hardwearing pillow for a kids room or a family living room, you should probably go for the polyester version.
If you're in the market for a luxury treat that you're happy to look after a bit, go for the cotton-linen luxury one.

colour wheel
Colour is very subjective at the best of times. And every PC, phone and tablet screen shows colours differently, too.
So if you’re trying to match a particular fabric or colour scheme, or aren't 100% sure, I’d strongly recommend buying a sample before going ‘all in’!
I often include video snippets in listings as I find video in daylight is a better guide to how an item looks “in the flesh".

Bear in mind too, that pieces produced in one week may look subtly (or even markedly) different to those produced a month later.  For example, a sample tile ordered in June is unlikely to be identical to a batch I make in September.
