Summer Greetings from DoodlePippin Towers.
In case you hadn't noticed, we've been away from work for a bit.
(Naturally, everyone in our respective families used the break to spend too much money, drink too many sangrias, and pile on too many pounds.)
But now we are back, refreshed and raring to go.
Thank you for all your lovely orders while we were out. Jude (who got back first) has been busy packing them all up and getting them out to you.
A couple of bits of news below...
Tariff-paid experiment for USA & Canada orders
As part of my sabbatical, I've been working on new designs, doing lots of messy and unsuccessful ceramic experiments, and looking into shipping logistics.
Frankly, the constant changes to import tariffs have been a nightmare for buyers, makers and shipping firms alike.
As a result, we've decided to do a 'quick and dirty' trial of paying import tariffs for customers in the US and Canada.
If we pay these charges upfront, it *should* mean shipments arrive swiftly and without any additional delays or charges.
We just need to work out how to make it work, how much it adds to our costs, and whether it actually makes life easier for our clients 'across the pond'.
So, it may not be a permanent thing; if you want to take advantage of the trial, get your order in within the next eight weeks or so.
New Extra Large Tablemats
Ever wanted some really big tablemats? We've had loads of requests over the years, but never found any we loved - until now!

Ideal as serving mats for hot dishes in the centre of the table, or the perfect placemat for very large plates.
