Shipping, gift wrap, returns and exchanges
Within the UK you'll get FREE standard delivery if you spend £40 or more.
If your order is under £40, shipping will be added to your order at checkout.
My standard UK shipping is Royal Mail Second Class for small parcels, and DPD or another parcel courier for larger packages over 2kg.
Royal Mail Second Class aims to get your parcel to you in 3-5 business days (including Saturdays). Obviously Christmas, Easter and bank holidays are a bit more of a lottery! If I know there's a problem or a delay, I will contact you via email to let you know.
For international orders I calculate shipping based on the weight and size of the parcel. Please go to check-out to get a quote; as a rough guide, international delivery starts at £6.
Please note; Overseas orders can be subject to unexpected and sometimes very lengthy delays that are outside of my control. They MAY also be subject to customs and import duties that I know nothing about and am not responsible for. Please check with your local tax / import duty authorities if you are worried.
FREE SHIPPING starts at: £40 for UK mainland customers. As the cost of sending parcels internationally has increased significantly in recent months, I've had to reintroduce shipping charges for USA / Canada and Australia / New Zealand orders. Charges will be applied according to the weight of your order. Any problems or questions relating to shipping charges, please contact me!
Insurance: If you are buying a more expensive item I would recommend paying for additional postal insurance... please contact me and I will get a quote.
GIFT WRAP SERVICE
My postage and packing charges normally include tissue wrap and ribbon, and all other packaging and materials.
Bracelets, earrings, pendants and other small items will be sent in a DoodlePippin gift box.
Tableware and cutlery and other larger items will be gift wrapped and packaged securely but may not be in a gift box unless they're pictured in the listing.
Because I make most items to order (and by hand) it's often not feasible to get items to you much faster than the times outlined above. But if I happen to have an item in stock it may be possible to get it out to you sooner than normal, and on a faster service. Please contact me before you order!
I want you to be 100% delighted with your purchase. So if for any reason you are not, please contact me!
I make almost everthing by hand, myself, and I spend a lot of time checking and rechecking that anything I sell is 100% 'right'. However with the best will in the world, something that isn't perfect may slip through from time to time.
If you've taken reasonable care of your DoodlePippin piece and something has gone wrong, please do contact me and I'll attempt to resolve the problem.
It's very rare that I can 'fix' broken original pieces (ie those that are made with the original millefiori design). It's even rarer that I can recreate a piece exactly like the one you bought - millefiori doesn't work like that.
However I'm normally really happy to replace pieces that have gone wrong in some way with a similar piece.
In the first instance, contact me to let me know what's happened and I will do my level best to sort it out.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
If a piece is damaged in the post, I will of course replace it or provide a refund. However I will need you to either return the damaged item, or to send me pictures of the problem in order to claim on my postal insurance.
If you've bought something and want to return it, that's fine too - just let me know what's happened and whether you want a refund or an exchange.
Please note that postage charges are NON refundable unless it's a result of my error. And if a piece isn't faulty, you're responsible for return postage rates. If it's a more expensive item, you might want to consider getting a tracked and signed service to make sure it gets back to me safely, as non-arrivals can't be reimbursed.

1. Contact me to let me know what's gone wrong.
2 Package items to be returned in the the same manner as they were shipped using the same appropriately protective layers.
3. Get proof of postage.
I will issue a refund as soon as the piece arrives but it may take several days for the refund to be processed.
I know how difficult it can be to buy the perfect gift!
If you've been given something you're not 100% delighted with, please do have a look and see if there's something else you'd prefer. I'm normally really happy to switch pieces. If you find something you'd like, let me know.
Worth bearing in mind that you'll be responsible for any difference in price. I don't issue partial refunds, and you'll have to pay for return postage of the 'returning piece' and for postage of the replacement.
If you can't find anything you'd prefer, I'm happy to take pieces back in their unused condition, including original attached swing tags and packaging.
